Cajas lagoons Park Tour Full Day

Cajas is a National park located on the northwestern side of the city of Cuenca; it’s formed by wetlands from glacial origins with more than 200 lakes.

ECUADOR PROGRAM IN CUENCA REGION

Depart from your Cuenca hotel and transfer to El Cajas park of 30 minute approximately. Hiking from the lower part of the park called  “Llaviuco”,  for one hour at 3,000 meters of altitude (9,842 feet); until arriving at the site called “Tres Cruces”,  the division point between the Pacific and the Atlantic ocean at an altitude of 4,135m (13,566ft); observation the area, its flora, possible birds and animals, then descent down to 3,900m (12,795ft) for 3 hours. On the trail appreciation of a beautiful primary forest and its interesting flora. Then return to Cuenca.
